Selecting interior paint colours for your home or business is an exciting and important job that requires some thought and attention. We are always available to offer guidance with this process to make sure that your valuable Canmore property really sings when we are finished painting. Painting colour trends shift from year to year, so the first step is to decide wether you are looking for a timeless classic paint job or the latest trendy one. When we visit your property for a complimentary quotation, we always bring colour sample books to help find the perfect paints for you.

One of our favourite paint companies is Benjamin Moore, and they, as well as many other fine paint companies, offer great colour picking resources. For this post we will be looking at some of Benjamin Moore’s selections for a fresh and trendy 2019 house painting job. Below is their top 15 paints of 2019. A beautiful harmonious palette for beautiful interiors.

The official Benjamin Moore colour of the year is Metropolitan, a lovely subtle and sophisticated grey which can deliver a calm and beautiful and modern look when paired with other greys, whites and beige accents. The walls below are an example of Metropolitan.

Bold hues are another trend Benjamin Moore is recommending this year. Pictured below is a bold beautiful modern and classic paint job. The Hale Navy cabinets really make an impact when paired with the white walls, counters, tiles and cabinets. This is a perfect paint colour combination for a bright modern Canmore kitchen.

Another fantastic look from Benjamin Moore is the bold and natural Kendal Charcoal, pictured below. This colour brings a little touch of nature to a bright room with bright furniture. We love how the trim and walls are the same colour with the trim being a semi-gloss finish and the walls being an eggshell.

Below is their most daring colour combination from the list, with Hunter Green walls, Hale Navy trim and classic cloud white walls. We wouldn’t recommend this for a dark space, but it is stunning in this example.
